A ‘Golden Opportunity’ for Afghan Village Women

April 2025 marked the Graduation of 95 women who had participated in the 20th round of AADO’s Literacy and Livelihoods for Village Women. One participant told us: ‘As a woman and a mother who had not been able to study, this course was a golden opportunity.’ Literacy enables women to access information and knowledge and empowers them to help their children in their school studies and to be role models for other women in their communities.

AADO would love to offer another course for village women, but we do not have the funds to do so. Help us to continue our work by going HERE
